Job Description:

 

  •  CDL and Non-CDL position

  • Local yard work – home daily

  • Paid every Friday (weekly pay)

  • Hiring dependable Yard Hostlers

  • Operate in yard environments

  • Perform safe and efficient trailer moves

  • Strong backing skills required

  • Steady hours available

  • Ideal for drivers confident in yard operations

 

Duties:

  • Moving and switching trailers using the yard light system
  • Conducting routine yard checks for inbound and outbound trailers
  • Assisting customer carriers with directions and yard procedures
  • Maneuvering trailers and backing with precision and confidence
  • Keeping the yard running safely and efficiently
  • 4×10 hour shifts, 3 days off a week

Qualifications:

  • Strong backing skills (tight yards are a must)
  • Ability to pass a road test in a yard truck ( NO TRAINING PROVIDED)
  • Reliable, safety-focused, and ready to work
  • Valid CA license (NON cdl)
