Position Overview

Road Warrior Staffing is seeking a hardworking, dependable, and team-oriented Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced warehouse operation in the Fresno, CA area.

This is a hands-on position where every day can be different. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for receiving and unloading incoming freight, moving and stocking merchandise, picking and checking orders, loading trucks, processing returns, preparing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who stays actively productive throughout the workday, works well as part of a team, and is willing to learn industry-specific warehouse tasks and procedures.

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Working Conditions

This position is primarily performed in a warehouse environment and may also require working outdoors.

Employees should be comfortable working in:

Warehouse environments
Outdoor conditions
Extreme hot and cold temperatures
Concrete floors for extended periods
Areas requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting
Areas requiring ladder use

The position requires the ability to safely perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.

Essential Job Functions
Receive and unload incoming freight.
Move and organize merchandise throughout the warehouse.
Load trucks and prepare materials for shipment.
Pick and check customer orders for accuracy.
Stock materials on warehouse shelves.
Process customer and vendor returns.
Wrap and prepare shipments for UPS and LTL delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Clean and maintain assigned work areas.
Perform industry-specific warehouse tasks as trained.
Cut wire and perform other warehouse duties as required.
Operate a Microsoft-based computer system.
Stay actively productive when not taking standard breaks.
Work cooperatively with warehouse team members and management.
Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Good mechanical skills.
Willingness to learn how to cut wire and perform industry-specific warehouse tasks.
Ability to squat, kneel, bend, and twist throughout the workday.
Ability to stand and work on a concrete floor for the entire shift.
Ability to climb ladders to pull and retrieve materials.
Basic math skills.
Must own and wear safety shoes, either steel-toed or composite/compact safety shoes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Must be hardworking, dependable, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
Must remain actively productive throughout the workday when not taking scheduled breaks.
