Non-CDL Driver | Local Box Truck Driver | Austin, TX

We are seeking a dependable Box Truck Driver for a full-time local delivery position based in the Austin, TX area. Drivers will complete residential and commercial deliveries throughout the Austin metro area and surrounding Texas communities.

This is a high-touch delivery position, with approximately 95% touch freight and frequent inside residential deliveries.

Pay: $24.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday; weekends as needed
Start Time: Between 7:00–9:00 AM
Shift Length: Typically 8–10 hours or longer as needed
Overtime: As needed
Equipment: Newer-model 26-foot box trucks with liftgates
Transmission: Automatic
Routes: Typically 200 miles or less per day
Delivery Area: Austin metro and surrounding Texas cities/towns
Touch Freight: Approximately 95%

Safely operate a box truck with a liftgate.
Complete local routes throughout Austin and surrounding Texas communities.
Perform residential and commercial deliveries to homes, stores, warehouses, yards, and other customer locations.
Handle approximately 95% touch freight, including inside residential deliveries.
Load and unload the truck at the warehouse and customer locations.
Safely lift at least 50 lbs. by hand.
Handle both palletized and non-palletized freight.
Safely handle and protect freight to prevent damage.
Provide professional customer service.
Follow assigned routes, delivery procedures, and company safety requirements.

Must have a valid Lincense.
Must be qualified to safely and legally operate a box truck.
DOT Med Card
Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial delivery vehicles.
Comfortable operating automatic equipment.
Ability to safely lift 50+ lbs.
Ability to use dollies, pallet jacks, and liftgates.
Willing to perform product assembly/disassembly when required.
Must be available for shifts beginning between 7:00–9:00 AM and lasting approximately 8–10+ hours when necessary.
Ability to provide professional customer service at both residential and commercial locations.

$24.00 per hour
