Non-CDL/ Local Box Truck Driver/ Kansas City, MO

We are seeking a dependable Straight Truck Driver for a full-time local delivery position based in Kansas City, MO. Drivers will operate automatic straight trucks and provide both business-to-business and business-to-consumer (residential) deliveries throughout the Kansas City metro area in Missouri and Kansas.

Pay: $23.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overtime: Available
Weekend Work: Very limited

Equipment: Automatic straight trucks
Stops: Approximately 10–15 per day
Routes: Usually under 150 miles per day
Touch Freight: 100%
Driver Helpers: Provided approximately 60% of the time

Safely operate an automatic straight truck.
Complete approximately 10–15 stops per day, depending on the assigned route.
Make B2B and residential deliveries throughout the Kansas City metro area.
Deliver to stores, warehouses, yards, businesses, and residences.
Load and unload assigned freight.
Handle 100% touch freight throughout the workday.
Transport a variety of products, including home furnishings, televisions, palletized freight, and general merchandise.
Perform minor assembly/disassembly approximately 10% of the time; training is provided.
Assist with warehouse duties, primarily loading and unloading assigned trucks.
Operate a forklift when needed if properly qualified.
Work independently or with a driver helper when assigned.
Properly secure and protect freight during transportation and delivery.
Maintain professional customer service and follow company safety procedures

Appropriate driver’s license and qualifications to legally operate the assigned straight truck.
DOT Med Card
Ability to safely operate an automatic straight truck.
Comfortable performing 100% touch-freight deliveries.
Ability and willingness to load and unload freight.
Comfortable making both commercial and residential deliveries.
Willing to perform occasional product assembly/disassembly.
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Willing to work overtime and occasional weekend hours when needed.
Forklift experience or qualification is a plus but not required for all drivers.
Must successfully complete the required interview and road test.
Interviews/road tests are generally available Tuesday–Thursday from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM.

$23.00 per hour
