Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver – La Vergne, TN | $25–$27/HR

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring an experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Delivery Driver in La Vergne, Tennessee for a local, home-daily delivery position serving Middle Tennessee and the surrounding La Vergne area.

This position operates a 26-foot automatic straight/box truck and is responsible for completing approximately 12–18 stops per day at commercial, residential, airport, warehouse, and other delivery locations.

The position involves approximately 80% touch freight and 20% no-touch freight, using pallet jacks, dollies, liftgate equipment, and other appropriate methods to safely move and deliver freight.

Daily routes generally range from approximately 25–175 miles, providing consistent local delivery work while allowing drivers to return home each day.

Home daily
Saturdays as needed

Pay
$25.00–$27.00 per hour

Safely operate a 26-foot automatic non-CDL box truck
Complete approximately 12–18 delivery stops per day
Drive local routes throughout La Vergne and Middle Tennessee
Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations
Make deliveries to airports, warehouses, businesses, and other designated locations
Perform approximately 80% touch and 20% no-touch freight deliveries
Load and unload freight safely and efficiently
Use pallet jacks, dollies, liftgates, and other delivery equipment
Move freight from the truck to designated customer delivery points
Complete required delivery paperwork and documentation
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections as required
Follow all applicable DOT and company safety requirements
Maintain awareness of route conditions, delivery locations, and customer instructions
Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Perform light assembly and disassembly when required
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck and delivery equipment
Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and other team members
Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
Safely secure freight during transportation

Minimum Requirements
Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating a non-CDL box truck
Valid DOT Medical Card required
Ability to obtain required security clearance for airport deliveries
Ability to safely operate a 26-foot automatic box truck
Previous delivery, driving, warehouse, logistics, or customer service experience preferred
Ability to complete multi-stop delivery routes
Comfortable performing physical, hands-on delivery work
Ability to load and unload freight
Experience or ability to learn pallet jack and dolly operation
Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds
Ability to interact professionally with commercial and residential customers
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Safety-minded approach to driving and freight handling
Ability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays when needed
Availability to work overtime when required or available
Full-week availability for scheduling
