Local Non-CDL Delivery Driver – $27/Hour + OT | Garden City, GA

Job Description

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring an experienced CDL-A Local Delivery Driver for a full-time opportunity based in Garden City, Georgia.

This position pays $27 per hour and offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule, overtime opportunities, local Georgia routes, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus paid after 90 days of employment.

Drivers will operate automatic tractors while completing approximately 10–15 commercial and residential deliveries daily. This is an active, hands-on position involving approximately 60% touch freight and 40% no-touch freight. Drivers must be comfortable loading and unloading freight, handling items weighing up to 75 pounds, and completing occasional assembly or disassembly.

Pay and Schedule

• $27 per hour

• Monday–Friday
• 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Overtime available
• Weekend work as needed or requested
• Approximately 10–15 stops daily
• Local routes throughout Georgia
• One position available

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate automatic Class A tractor equipment.
• Complete approximately 10–15 stops per day.
• Drive assigned routes throughout Georgia.
• Make commercial and residential deliveries.
• Deliver freight to stores, warehouses, yards, airports, businesses, residences, and other customer locations.
• Handle approximately 60% touch freight and 40% no-touch freight.
• Load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight.
• Handle individual freight pieces based on route requirements.
• Lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds at times.
• Secure and protect freight during transportation.
• Perform product assembly or disassembly when required.
• Complete provided training for assembly and disassembly duties.
• Assist with loading the truck at the warehouse.
• Complete delivery paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, and operations personnel.
• Report delivery, equipment, or freight issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe vehicle.

Qualifications

• Commercial delivery or LTL experience preferred.
• Comfortable completing multi-stop routes.
• Willing and able to load and unload freight.
• Comfortable working in a 60% touch-freight position.
• Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Willing to perform assembly and disassembly after training.
• Comfortable completing commercial and residential deliveries.
• Able to obtain required airport security clearance.
• Available Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Available for overtime and weekend work when needed.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
• Ability to meet applicable DOT, company, and insurance requirements.
