CDL A Drop & Hook Driver | Home Daily | Coppell, TX | $27–$29/Hour

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring an experienced CDL A Drop & Hook Driver for a dedicated nighttime route between Coppell and Houston, Texas.

This is a straightforward, driver-focused position featuring no-touch freight, drop-and-hook operations, and an automatic Class A tractor. Drivers will depart from Coppell at approximately 10:00 PM, travel to Houston, drop the outbound trailer, hook to a loaded return trailer, and return to Coppell.

This position is well suited for experienced CDL A drivers who prefer a consistent Monday-Friday schedule, nighttime driving, and no-touch freight.

Dedicated Coppell-to-Houston route
Return to Coppell after completing the Houston trailer exchange
Home daily
Overtime may be available

$27.00–$29.00 per hour
Overtime opportunities may be available

Safely operate a Class A tractor on a dedicated Coppell-to-Houston route.
Depart from Coppell at approximately 10:00 PM.
Transport trailers between Coppell and Houston.
Drop the outbound trailer at the Houston location.
Safely hook to the loaded return trailer.
Return the loaded trailer from Houston to Coppell.
Perform safe coupling and uncoupling procedures.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Follow all applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
Maintain a safe and professional driving environment.
Communicate promptly regarding route, equipment, or operational issues.
Maintain required logs, documentation, and other driving records.
Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance concerns as needed.

Minimum Requirements
Valid Class A CDL.
Professional tractor-trailer driving experience.
Ability to safely operate an automatic Class A tractor.
Ability to safely complete nighttime driving routes.
Ability to perform coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
Dependable attendance and punctuality.
Strong commitment to safe driving practices.
Ability to meet applicable DOT and company qualification requirements.
Ability to work the required Monday-Friday nighttime schedule.
