Job Description:

  • Seeking a highly skilled CDL Class A Driver

  • Experience in heavy equipment and industrial yard operations required

  • Not a simple point-A-to-point-B driving position

  • Requires precision maneuvering and strong backing skills

  • Must have strong equipment awareness

  • Ability to operate safely and confidently in an active warehouse and yard environment

  • Comfortable moving heavy units

  • Experienced in spotting trailers in confined spaces

  • Takes full ownership of assigned equipment

  • Demonstrates professionalism and independence

  • Strict adherence to safety standards and DOT regulations required

Duties:

  • Move mobiles, skids, and heavy components safely within the facility

  • Execute precise maneuvers to obtain certified mobile weights

  • Spot, reposition, and transfer trailers between warehouse locations

  • Perform short-range field service trips throughout California

  • Operate tractor and pickup in high-traffic industrial environments

  • Perform tight backing, coupling and uncoupling, and controlled positioning

  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections

  • Maintain assigned truck and pickup in proper working condition

  • Identify and report mechanical issues immediately

  • Maintain strict DOT compliance and accurate documentation

  • Follow all company safety standards and procedure

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A license Current DOT medical card clean driving record
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment, yard, or industrial operations
  • Strong backing and maneuvering skills in confined spaces
  • Experience with trailer spotting and warehouse transfers
  • Mechanical aptitude and hands-on mindset
  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and climbing in/out of equipment
  • Self-starter who works independently without constant supervision
