Non-CDL Delivery Driver – Banning, CA | $22/HR

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring a dependable Non-CDL Delivery Driver in Banning, California for a full-time opportunity combining local deliveries with warehouse support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, working directly with customers, and helping with hands-on material handling throughout the workday.

Drivers operate 16–26 foot stake-bed trucks equipped with air brakes, delivering materials to job sites and warehouses within approximately 30 miles of the Banning area. Deliveries typically involve unloading materials by hand, with customer assistance generally available. When forklift unloading is necessary, the customer is responsible for unloading the materials.

After completing deliveries, drivers assist with warehouse duties. Candidates must have experience securing loads with straps and tie-downs, be comfortable lifting 25–30 pounds, and demonstrate strong customer service and attention to detail.

This position offers $22.00 per hour, a Monday–Friday schedule, and overtime opportunities, with a consistent early morning start.

Schedule and Pay
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour.
Schedule: Monday through Friday.
Hours: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM.
Overtime: Available as needed.

Delivery Area: Approximately 30 miles from the local operating area.

Safely operate 16–26 foot non-CDL stake-bed trucks equipped with air brakes.
Complete local deliveries to job sites, warehouses, and other assigned locations.
Load, unload, and handle materials safely, typically with customer assistance during unloading.
Coordinate with customers when unloading requirements involve forklifts or other equipment.
Secure materials using appropriate straps and tie-downs before and during transportation.
Inspect loads to ensure materials are properly secured and protected.
Follow assigned routes and delivery instructions.
Communicate professionally with customers and company personnel.
Use the company-provided phone and electronic logging device (ELD) application as required.
Follow safe hands-free procedures when making or receiving calls while driving.
Follow company policies regarding forward-facing vehicle cameras and driver safety.
Assist with warehouse duties after completing delivery routes.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and report vehicle or equipment concerns.
Follow applicable transportation, workplace safety, and company procedures.

Minimum Requirements

At least 21 years of age.
Valid driver’s license appropriate for the assigned vehicle and compliant with applicable requirements.
Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate before starting, or the ability to obtain one before the start date.
Previous experience securing loads with straps and tie-downs.
Ability to lift and carry materials weighing approximately 25–30 pounds.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Ability to perform both local driving and warehouse support duties.
Willingness to operate vehicles equipped with forward-facing cameras.
Ability to use a company-provided phone and ELD application.

Preferred Experience

Previous delivery driving experience using stake-bed or flatbed-style trucks.
Experience delivering materials to construction sites, warehouses, or commercial customers.
Familiarity with safe load securement and material handling.
Experience with local delivery routes and customer-facing responsibilities.
