Job Description

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring an experienced CDL A Team Driver in Scranton, PA for a scheduled route serving Salisbury, NC, and Lehigh, PA, before returning to Scranton. This opportunity is ideal for a safety-focused professional who has doubles experience, is confident driving at night, and works well as part of a driver team.

Drivers can expect approximately 3,000 paid miles per week at $0.84 per mile, plus an $80 daily per diem. Additional highlights include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) with a 4% company match, and newer, dependable equipment.

This position primarily involves night driving, with five nights on the road each week and occasional six-day dispatches. Dependability, communication, and a commitment to your teammate’s safety are essential.

Route and Schedule
Route: Scranton, PA → Salisbury, NC → Lehigh, PA → Scranton, PA
Dispatch: Monday nights, approximately 9:00 PM
Return: Saturday night
Time on the Road: Five nights per week, with occasional six-day dispatches
Driving Conditions: Primarily night driving
Miles: Approximately 3,000 paid miles per week
Pay and Compensation
Mileage Pay: $0.84 CPM
Weekly Mileage: Approximately 3,000 paid miles
Daily Per Diem: $80 per day
Insurance: Health, dental, and vision coverage
Retirement: 401(k) with a 4% company match

Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer equipment with doubles on the assigned route.
Coordinate with your teammate to maintain schedules and complete assigned runs.
Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
Follow applicable DOT regulations, company safety policies, and safe driving practices.
Communicate professionally with your teammate, dispatch, and other relevant personnel.
Maintain dependable attendance and consistent performance throughout the scheduled run.
Exercise sound judgment while driving at night and operating doubles equipment.
Help maintain a safe, professional, and cooperative team-driving environment.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A).
At least one year of tractor-trailer driving experience within the past three years.
Previous doubles experience — required.
Clean driving record that meets applicable company and insurance standards.
Confidence and experience driving at night.
Dependability and the ability to maintain a team-driving schedule.
Non-smoker, as required for this position.
Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements and pass required pre-employment screening.
