CDL A/Local Driver/Groveport OH

We are seeking a dependable Tractor-Trailer Driver for a full-time local driving position based in Groveport, OH. Drivers will operate automatic tractor-trailers.

This position offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, primarily local routes, minimal touch freight, and approximately 200 miles of driving per day.

Pay: $28.00/hour

Freight: Various types of general freight
Touch Freight: Minimal
Customers: Maersk customers
Delivery Locations: Commercial locations, including stores, warehouses, and yards

Safely operate an automatic tractor-trailer.
Complete local routes averaging approximately 200 miles per day.
Make commercial deliveries to stores, warehouses, yards, and other customer locations.
Transport various types of freight.
Perform minimal freight handling when required.
Properly inspect and secure freight before transportation.
Conduct required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate driving and delivery documentation.
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, deliveries, delays, and other updates.
Follow company policies and all applicable DOT and safety regulations.
Maintain professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations.

Must possess a CDL-A.
Experience safely operating tractor-trailer equipment.
Ability to operate an automatic transmission.
Comfortable handling a limited amount of touch freight when required.
Must comply with applicable DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
Must successfully complete the required interview and road test.

$28.00 per hour
Sign-on bonus available
