Non CDL Box Truck Driver | $28/HR| Fresno, CA

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring an experienced Non-CDL Box Truck Driver to transport a mobile hearing testing unit to manufacturing facilities and client locations throughout California.

The driver will operate a Freightliner Box Truck and transport the mobile testing unit to scheduled client appointments. A hearing technician will ride along with the driver and perform hearing tests at each location.

This is primarily a local, home-daily driving position with a Monday through Friday schedule. Approximately every three weeks, drivers may be assigned an out-of-town route requiring an overnight stay.

Hotel accommodations are provided and meals are reimbursed when overnight travel is required.

Schedule & Home Time
Typical Schedule

Monday–Friday

The position is primarily local and is generally home daily.

Occasional Overnight Travel

Approximately every three weeks, the driver may be assigned an out-of-town appointment schedule requiring overnight travel.

When overnight travel is required:

Hotel accommodations are provided.
Meals are reimbursed.
Travel assignments are scheduled in advance whenever possible.
Sunday Evening Departures

Occasionally, the driver may need to depart on Sunday evening in order to arrive at an early Monday morning client appointment.

Hours & Overtime
Average: Approximately 40 hours per week
Guaranteed minimum: 35 paid hours when the workweek falls below 35 hours
Some weeks may reach 50 hours
Overtime opportunities are available

Actual hours may vary depending on the client appointment schedule and assigned routes.

Preferred Qualifications
Previous box truck driving experience preferred.
Experience operating a Freightliner or similar commercial box truck preferred.
Clean driving record preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable and punctual.
Comfortable working independently.
Comfortable traveling occasionally for overnight assignments.
Bilingual candidates are a plus but not required.
