Road Warrior Staffing is seeking an experienced Non-CDL Delivery Driver to make local-area deliveries and pickups to and from customers and suppliers throughout the Fresno, CA area.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely operating a company vehicle, loading and unloading materials, completing deliveries and pickups, maintaining accurate records, and providing professional customer service.

This position requires experience operating a 16–26 ft. flatbed or box truck, as well as the ability to safely load and unload materials in a variety of warehouse, customer, and construction worksite environments.

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Essential Job Functions
Legally operate a motor vehicle while maintaining a driving record that meets company standards.
Make local deliveries and pickups to and from customers and suppliers.
Load order fulfillment materials onto the delivery truck.
Safely unload materials at customer and supplier locations.
Load and unload a delivery truck from ground level or platform locations.
Deliver and pick up merchandise promptly, efficiently, and professionally.
Perform daily inspections of the company vehicle.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance as required.
Communicate vehicle mechanical problems to the direct supervisor.
Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork for deliveries and pickups.
Properly secure materials and products for transportation.
Operate a forklift as required for loading and unloading.
Operate a pallet jack as required.
Maintain professional relationships with customers and suppliers.
Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation requirements.

Minimum of 1 year of experience driving a 16–26 ft. flatbed or box truck.
Ability to inspect, maintain, and safely operate a motor vehicle.
Ability to safely load and unload a delivery truck from ground level or platform locations.
Ability to work in a variety of warehouse and construction worksite environments.
Ability to read and perform basic math necessary to accurately access materials for deliveries and pickups.
Ability to correctly complete delivery and pickup paperwork.
Must know how to operate a forklift.
Must know how to operate a pallet jack.
Must own a smartphone capable of supporting business-related applications.
Must have a clean driving record.
Ability to work safely and professionally in a customer-facing delivery position.

Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with DOT regulations concerning commercial drivers.
Previous local delivery experience.
Experience making deliveries to construction or commercial worksites.
