We are hiring CDL A Drivers for home daily routes based out of Rome, Georgia. This position offers consistent freight, flexible scheduling, weekly home time every day, and the opportunity to increase earnings by taking additional loads and overnight runs.

Drivers primarily run dedicated freight between Rome, GA and Montgomery, AL, allowing them to return home daily in most cases. Drivers seeking additional income can choose to stay out longer and run extended routes as far as Mobile, AL, creating opportunities to significantly increase weekly earnings.

This account has plenty freight available giving motivated drivers the flexibility to pick up extra hours, shifts, additional miles, and additional earning opportunities.

• Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer on dedicated regional routes.

• Transport freight between Rome, GA, Montgomery, AL, and surrounding markets.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.

• Maintain compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.

• Accurately complete logs and transportation documentation.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.

• Deliver freight safely and on schedule.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer interactions.

• Report equipment issues and maintenance concerns promptly.

• Maximize available miles and earning opportunities based on preferred schedule.

• Valid Class A CDL License

• Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred

• Drivers with 6 months of recent Class A experience may be considered

• Must live within 50 miles of Rome, GA

• No DUI, DWI, or OWI convictions within the past 7 years

• No more than 1 non-serious moving violation within the last 12 months

• No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years

• No more than 1 non-serious preventable accident within the last 12 months

• No more than 2 accidents within the last 2 years

• SAP drivers may be considered if the program has been successfully completed and driving privileges have been fully reinstated

• Ability to pass DOT employment, drug screening, and background requirements

• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
