Job Description:

  • Equipment: 2018 – 2026 Trucks (Automatic Volvos with a few Peterbilts and Kenworth 860’s and 780s.) 
    Freight: 90–95% No Touch Freight
    Fuel Network: Pilot & Flying J
    Truck Features:
    • Automatic transmissions
    • Governed at 70 MPH
    • Equipped with refrigerators
    • Equipped with inverters
    • Inward-facing cameras installed
    • No pets allowed
    Driver Pay Structure: W2 – Weekly Pay
    Transition Pay:
    All drivers eligible for $2,000 transition pay (similar to sign-on bonus).

Duties:

  • Transporting perishable items regional 
  • Securing loads safely and ensuring materials are protected during transit
  • Following DOT regulations and company safety procedures
  • Completing delivery logs and maintaining communication with dispatch
  • Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
    • Sunday – Thursday
    • Must be available 6 AM Monday – 6 PM Friday
    • Dispatched no earlier than 6 AM Monday
    • Must return to terminal by 6 PM Friday
  • Drivers cannot take trucks home and must live within reasonable commuting distance of the yard.
Pay
  • $1,500 weekly salary
  • Equivalent to $300 per day
  • If driver only works part of the week, pay is prorated
Example:
  • 3 days worked = $900
Vacation
  • 5 days vacation = 1 week
  • Vacation Pay: $1,500
Not Eligible For
Drivers on this account do NOT receive:
  • Layover Pay
  • Breakdown Pay
  • Detention Pay
  • Stop Pay
Dispatch Expectations
Drivers must follow dispatch instructions until 6 PM Friday if they still have hours available.
Example:
If driver returns 1 PM Friday with hours remaining, dispatch may send them on another run and driver must accept the load.
Failure to Meet Account Requirements
If a driver fails to meet obligations, they will be moved to mileage pay for that week.
Examples include:
  • Not following dispatch plan
  • Stopping short
  • Oversleeping
  • Going out of route
  • Excessive stops or breaks
  • Sandbagging / intentionally delaying loads

Qualifications:


  • Route Expectations (All Regional Accounts)
    Drivers must be comfortable running routes including:
    • Pennsylvania
    • Massachusetts
    Other areas may be included but these are primary lanes.
    Routes do not run out West for the salary accounts to ensure home-time guarantees.
  • Driver Requirements
    Drivers must meet the following:
    • Class A CDL
    • Minimum age: 25
    • Minimum 2 years verifiable CDL experience
    • Valid DOT Physical
    • Must pass DOT Drug Screen
    • Must enroll in DOT Random Drug Testing Program
    • Good MVR, PSP, and Clearinghouse
    Employment history must be verifiable for up to 10 years.
