Job Description:

           

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods.
  • California to Texas runs
  • Out 2 weeks at a time
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight.
  • Maintain accurate logbooks and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
  • Properly secure and handle freight to prevent damage during transit.

 

 

Duties:

 

  •  Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck and trailer are safe and compliant.
  • Complete timely pickups and deliveries according to scheduled routes and dispatch instructions.
  • Maintain accurate driver logs and required documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status or issues.
  • Secure and handle freight properly to prevent damage during loading, transport, and unloading.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CDL Class A
  • 3 years’ experience
  • Flatbed experience required
  • Comfortable securing/tarping when required
  • Clean MVR, PSP, and CDLIS
  • Safety-focused and dependable
  • Able to commit to OTR rotations
