Non-CDL/Straight Truck Driver/ Peabody, MA

We are seeking a dependable Non-CDL Straight Truck Driver for a full-time local delivery position based in Peabody, MA. Drivers will operate a 26-foot non-CDL straight truck and make business and residential deliveries throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island.

This is a hands-on position involving 100% touch freight, including loading, unloading, and white-glove delivery services.

Pay: $27.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Overtime: Paid after 40 hours; overtime opportunities available

Average Route: Approximately 150 miles per day
Freight: Palletized freight and individual boxes/pieces
Delivery Area: MA, NH, ME, and RI
Touch Freight: 100%

Safely operate a 26-foot non-CDL straight truck.
Complete local and regional routes averaging approximately 150 miles per day.
Deliver throughout various cities and towns in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island.
Load and unload freight at pickup and delivery locations.
Handle 100% touch freight, including palletized freight and individual boxes.
Lift and handle freight weighing 50+ lbs.
Perform assembly and disassembly of freight when required.
Provide white-glove delivery service to residential customers when applicable.
Safely handle freight to prevent damage during loading, transportation, and delivery.
Maintain professional communication and customer service throughout the delivery process.

No CDL required.
Must be comfortable operating a 26-foot straight truck.
DOT Med Card
Ability to safely lift and handle 50+ lbs.
Must be comfortable with a physically demanding, 100% touch-freight position.
Ability and willingness to load and unload freight.
Comfortable performing freight assembly/disassembly when required.
Must be available Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Willing and able to travel throughout MA, NH, ME, and RI.
Must successfully complete the required interview and road test.
Road tests are conducted Tuesday–Friday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, with the candidate interview scheduled for the same day.

$27.00 per hour
