Class C Delivery Driver | Windsor, CT | $26/HR + OT

Road Warrior Staffing is hiring a dependable Class C Delivery Driver for a full-time delivery position based in Windsor, Connecticut.

This is an active local and regional delivery driver position supporting commercial and residential customers throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. Drivers will operate box trucks equipped with lift gates and are responsible for completing deliveries and pickups while safely loading, unloading, and handling freight.

The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM schedule, competitive pay of $26.00 per hour, and overtime opportunities after 40 hours.

Drivers should be comfortable with a hands-on delivery environment where approximately 20% of the average workday involves freight handling.

Safely operate 26-foot box trucks weighing approximately 26,000 lbs.
Operate smaller 18-foot box trucks as assigned.
Safely operate vehicles equipped with lift gates.
Complete commercial and residential deliveries and pickups.
Perform dock-to-dock deliveries and pickups.
Deliver freight to stores, warehouses, yards, and other customer locations.
Load and unload assigned freight.
Handle both palletized and non-palletized freight.
Safely use lift gates and appropriate material-handling equipment.
Secure freight appropriately during transportation.
Complete delivery and pickup documentation accurately.
Perform required vehicle inspections.
Follow applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, and operations personnel.
Report delivery, equipment, or freight issues promptly.
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle and work environment.
Freight & Equipment

Freight Mix
Approximately 50% palletized freight
Approximately 50% non-palletized freight
Residential deliveries and pickups
Commercial deliveries and pickups
Dock-to-dock deliveries
Deliveries to stores, warehouses, yards, and other customer locations
Non-palletized loads may include approximately 15–20 pieces depending on the route

Minimum Requirements
Valid Class C driver’s license/CDL or other applicable credentials required for the assigned vehicle, as applicable.
Previous commercial delivery or box truck driving experience preferred.
Ability to safely operate 18-foot and 26-foot box trucks.
Ability to safely operate vehicles equipped with lift gates.
Ability to complete commercial and residential deliveries.
Ability to load and unload freight throughout the workday.
Ability to safely handle both palletized and non-palletized freight.
Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
